Shipping Policy
Please ensure delivery details are correct when placing you order. Mana Bay Designs takes no responsibility for lost items posted by us to an address that has been incorrectly provided by the customer. If you want your order delivered to a business address, please ensure business details are provided. Mana Bay Designs takes no responsibility for any lost packages. Once a package has left our store, the shipment, handling and delivery is completely out of our control.
All items are sent via New Zealand Post. All orders will be shipped with tracking provided via email. Please make sure you select the correct shipping option for rural deliveries as you will be liable to pay us for the additional shipping costs and this will add unnecessary delays to your order being delivered. If you are unsure if you have a rural address, use the Address and Postcode Finder on the New Zealand Post website. For shipping to countries outside of New Zealand, please select International and email us at manabaydesigns@gmail.com and we will add the correct shipping rates for your country into your invoice . International orders will not be made, packed or posted until your invoice has been paid in full. Orders will be cancelled within 7 days an invoice has not been paid.
SHIPPING EXPECTATIONS
All of our snow globe cups have a maximum processing time of 3 days. This is to allow for the liquid content to settle and for any air bubbles to be removed. For suspended flow cups, these can be sealed immediately and shipped as soon as possible.
New Zealand Post is usually consistent with next day shipping so turnaround for our cups from base to customer is usually 3-7 days, depending on where you live in New Zealand. Rural deliveries take longer. New Zealand Post can be unpredictable in peak seasons such as Christmas, therefore we ask that you allow extra time for delivery. The normal delivery period for national orders is 2 - 8 business days and international orders can take anywhere between 10 - 21 days depending on the final destination.
SHIPPING COSTS
Please understand that shipping costs are very expensive and we only charge what it costs to ship and nothing extra. The reason for our shipping being more expensive than other small businesses is that we choose to ship all of our snow globe cups and tumblers in boxes. This is the only way we can ensure that your items are delivered to you undamaged i.e. they are double boxed with double the amount of bubble wrap! If your items do reach you damaged then we know it was not through our lack of packaging and care. We take pride in the quality of our products and respect our customers investment in our small business and do our utmost to ensure your items are treated with the love and care they and you deserve. DAMAGED PRODUCTS: Once a package has left our store, the shipment, handling and delivery is completely out of our control. We take special care to ensure our products are boxed and bubble wrapped appropriately to prevent damage. We always display FRAGILE stickers on all of our snow globe cup and tumbler products. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by third parties and will not refund the order if it it arrives at your door partially or fully damaged. Due to the items being of a FRAGILE nature they are automatically deemed a prohibited and restricted item and are exempt from compensation.
